Megan is a senior associate in the firm’s corporate and commercial team. Megan’s broad experience covers mergers and acquisitions, corporate structuring and advisory, corporate finance, as well as structuring, negotiating and implementing key commercial agreements.
Megan works closely with Jeremy Rosenthal (Partner) on all agriculture, rural, livestock and water transactions across a range of sectors including forestry, grain, livestock and fresh produce. Her clients include private and public companies as well as private family groups spanning a wide range of industries including manufacturing, petroleum, property development and specialty retailers.
Megan has particular expertise in the areas of trusts and personal property securities law and its application to day to day business dealings as well as complex commercial transactions. In advising clients Megan remains focused on protecting her client’s legal interests whilst achieving optimal commercial outcomes.
Megan joined SBA Law in April 2011 after moving to Melbourne from Adelaide where she previously worked for a boutique Adelaide law firm and in house for a private property trust. She holds a Bachelor of Law (Honours) and Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting), both from the University of Adelaide and completed the Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice.
