Jonathan Hirsh is a highly regarded commercial property lawyer. He has developed a broad practice with a strong emphasis on medium to large scale development projects, the acquisition and disposition of commercial properties, the preparation and negotiation of agreements for leases and leases for commercial, retail and industrial premises, high volume industrial and residential off the plan sales, and other aspects of technical and complex property work. He has worked on landmark projects in Victoria.
Jonathan works closely with astute property developers, business owners, sophisticated landlord and tenant clients, family offices and private equity vehicles.
Jonathan also works closely with the firm’s corporate and commercial team on hybrid corporate and property transactions, as well as the firm’s commercial litigation and dispute resolution team in relation to property disputes.

Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) and a Bachelor of Laws (with Honours) from Monash University.
Jonathan joined SBA Law as a Principal in 2014 after 8 years in a top tier firm in Melbourne and 4 years in a boutique property, commercial and litigation practice. Jonathan was accredited as the Victorian Young Property Lawyer of the Year.
