Jeffrey Appel OAM specialises in commercial structures, commercial litigation, mergers and acquisitions generally, with an emphasis on large scale and complex commercial litigation including contract law, trade practices, building disputes and finance issues across a range of industry sectors.
He advises on insolvency and related matters and his expertise covers all forms of dispute resolution, arbitrations and mediations.
He acts for a diverse range of clients, including some of Melbourne’s highest profile personalities, large companies and family run businesses and has acted in some of Melbourne’s most sizable cases.
Jeffrey holds a Bachelor of Laws from Melbourne University.
Jeffrey was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia in the 2014 Queen’s Birthday Honours for services to the community, particularly in the field of social welfare.
Jeffrey is the Chair of the Gold Patrons Division of the Jewish National Fund Victoria.
