Expertise

Ina is a lawyer in the firm’s corporate and commercial team and has experience working with clients on a broad range of transactions across various industry sectors.

Working closely with the partners in the team, Ina has been involved in a number of M&A transactions ranging from mid-market level deals to small business transactions. She also assists clients with corporate restructuring, venture capital investments as well as shareholder arrangements and general commercial contracting.

Ina prides herself on delivering practical and commercial advice to clients.

Prior to joining SBA Law, Ina was a lawyer at a national law firm.

She is also fluent in Mandarin Chinese and has experience working with clients from a Chinese background.

Education

Ina holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws from Monash University.

Ina has provided support on a number of recent corporate transactions, including:

• SoundBay: The sale of SoundBay (the parent company of Store DJ and Mannys Music) to Australis Music Group.
  Strangelove: the sale of the StrangeLove premium low-calorie soft drinks and mixers group to Asahi Beverages.
• MaxCap Group: the sale of up to a 50% equity stake in MaxCap Group to clients managed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management, Inc (NYSE: APO).
• Compass Medical Group: The sale of Compass Medical Group to Partnered Health (controlled by Quadrant Private Equity).
• Transpire Technology: The sale of Transpire Technology Pty Ltd to CI&T (NYSE: CINT).
