Expertise

Benny is a lawyer in the firm’s corporate and commercial team and has experience working with clients on a variety of transactions across different industry sectors.

Benny advises clients on small to mid-size M&A transactions, capital raisings, shareholder arrangements and other negotiated transactions, as well as corporate governance matters.

Benny also assists clients with general commercial contracting and regulatory guidance.

Prior to joining SBA Law, Benny was a litigation lawyer at a national law firm where he completed his Supervised Legal Training.

Education

Benny holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Marketing Science from Monash University.

Benny's most recent transactions include:

• acting for IonOpticks, a leading global producer of high-performance chromatography columns, on its partnership with Nordic private equity firm Adelis Equity Partners.
• acting for Sequana, a leading water engineering and advisory business, on the sale of a majority interest to Pemba Capital Partners.
• acting in the sale of an interest in GlobeWest to Next Capital Private Equity.
• providing support to Riskonnect, the leader in integrated risk management solutions, in relation to various aspects of its acquisition of Camms, a leading provider of enterprise cloud-based software for governance, risk and compliance.
