Morris Landau
Morris Landau is the partner responsible for the Corporate and Business Law Division of the firm with over 20 years commercial experience in acting for listed corporations (including mining and industrial companies), large business enterprises and ventures, public authorities and co-operatives and high net worth clients. Morris has particular strength in addressing and advising on legal issues in the context of the practical commercial needs and sensitivities of clients. His expertise extends to mergers and acquisitions, capital raising and restructures. In providing advice, he focuses on particular requirements arising under the Corporations Act, ASX Listing Rules, Taxation Law and GST.
He is the Chairman of the Corporate Law Committee of the Law Institute of Victoria and has completed a Master of Commercial Law at the University of Melbourne. He is up to date in corporate law reform and contributes to its development. He has also presented papers at and chaired seminars conducted by the Law Institute of Victoria
Through his extensive experience, Morris has the expertise to interpret, advise, negotiate, structure and document the statutory and commercial needs of our clients in an efficient and cost effective manner. Morris is involved with a number of professional and charitable organisations. He is married to Miri and has 3 energetic boys and a beautiful daughter.
