Milli is part of the firm’s commercial litigation and dispute resolution team and works closely with Sam Bond. She has particular expertise in the areas of contractual and general commercial dispute resolution, leasing and property disputes, debt recovery and insurance.
Before joining SBA, Milli worked for five years at a highly regarded boutique specialist commercial litigation firm where she conducted high net-worth and large scale litigation in the Supreme Court, Court of Appeal, Federal Court and High Court, as well as regularly taking charge of smaller commercial files in the County and Magistrates’ Courts. She was involved in high profile litigation such as the “Centro” class action and ASIC prosecution in the Federal Court, and the appeal heard by the full bench of the High Court of Australia in Kakavas v Crown Melbourne Ltd HCA 25.
Milli holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts from Monash University. She won the Blake Dawson prize for Contract Law in 2008. She has a keen interest in aviation and holds a Graduate Certificate of Aviation (Management) from Swinburne University.
