Alev practices in the firm’s commercial litigation and dispute resolution team and has particular expertise in personal and corporate insolvency, contractual disputes and general commercial litigation. Alev prides herself on providing clear, practical and accessible legal advice to clients in order to achieve their desired strategic outcomes in the context of the legal and commercial realities they face. Alev has conducted matters, and appears regularly, in all Victorian Jurisdictions, as well as in the Federal Court of Australia and the Federal Circuit of Australia.
Prior to joining SBA Law, Alev was an associate to the Honourable Associate Justice Randall of the Supreme Court of Victoria and then joined a boutique commercial litigation practice where she specialised in personal and corporate insolvency matters. Alev is involved in and supports various not-for-profit and community organisations, and was a volunteer lawyer at the Fitzroy Legal Service.
Alev holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne and has obtained the Advanced Insolvency Certification from the Australian Restructuring Insolvency and Turnaround Association. She is also a member of the Grievance & Disciplinary Tribunal of the Football Federation Victoria.
