Michael Brott

Michael Brott completed his law degree at the University of Melbourne in 1963. He joined Les Schetzer, the founder of the firm, in 1965 and in 1966 became a partner practising in conveyancing with particular emphasis on commercial and industrial purchases, mortgages, sales-leasing transactions, acting for developers in property transactions and residential-industrial subdivision works. Michael retired from Partnership on 7 December 2011 and is now an active Consultant to the Firm.
Michael was the partner in charge of the property and conveyancing area of the firm. In his over 40 years of property experience he has a detailed knowledge of retail tenancies, mortgages and property security transactions and subdivision, development and planning applications. He has completed a mediation course and
has a special interest in resolving disputes prior to the onset of litigation.
Michael is involved in Jewish community affairs and in charitable and religious institutions. He and his wife Marion have three grown children. Michael is interested in all sports, plays bridge; reads and walks regularly and is a most enthusiastic grandfather.
