An unlisted public company recently approached us to facilitate capital raising to attract venture capital from a wide potential investor base of “Mums and Dads”. The complexity and expense associated with a prospectus to facilitate a capital raising which would have an unknown level of success was daunting.

Morris Landau advised the client of an opportunity available to the company once in its lifetime to prepare an Offer Information Statement as an alternative to a prospectus to raise up to $5M of capital through a relatively inexpensive capital raising exercise. At the same time, contracts are put in place to secure key personnel and our team have mapped out due diligence for the company to undertake in its move towards a dynamic capital raising push.
